Promotion Description: The Wellesse “Walking Challenge” Instant Win Game and Sweepstakes is comprised of both a Sweepstakes and an Online Instant Win Game. Wellesse (“Sponsor”) will award one (1) Grand Prize at the conclusion of each promotion period. Wellesse will also award one hundred and five (105) prizes in an Instant Win Game during each promotion period. Prizes and methods of entry are more completely described below.
Promotion Period: The Wellesse "Walking Challenge" Sweepstakes will begin on October 22, 2009 and end on February 21, 2010 at 11:59 pm EST. The Sweepstakes has four promotional periods beginning on October 22, 2009. There will be one drawing for the Grand Prize at the end of each promotional period. The Instant Win Game may be played throughout all promotional periods. The four promotional periods are:
How to Enter the Sweepstakes Online: To enter for a chance to win the sweepstakes go to http://wellesse.com and follow instructions for entering your information. Participants may enter up to one time per promotion period. Participants may also earn one extra entry in the sweepstakes by sending an email about the promotion to a friend. Five additional entries may be earned during each period of the promotion. Each email must be to a unique individual.
How to Enter the Sweepstakes by Text Message: the Wellesse “Walking Challenge” Sweepstakes may be entered by wireless text messaging from your mobile phone. To enter, send your email address by text message with the keyword to 41513. The keyword may be found on printed materials distributed at events in which Wellesse is participating. Wellesse will respond to your text entry confirming your entry and will include a code that may be used for an additional play in the online Instant Win Game found on the Wellesse website.
The text messaging method of entry requires a 2-way text messaging capable phone and digital service. You will be charged for the message that originated from your phone according to the terms in your calling plan with your carrier. Text messaging service may not be available in all areas.
In case of dispute as to the identity of a text message entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the mobile telephone number. The “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned a mobile telephone number by the wireless carrier or as shown on the carrier’s records.
If you are not a wireless service subscriber or you are a wireless service subscriber and do not wish to enter via the above method or online but attend a Wellesse event you may enter the sweepstakes by paper entry. Entry forms will be available from Wellesse at selected events; these forms will require you to submit your name and email address. Wellesse will send you an email confirming sweepstakes entry.
Grand Prize: The Grand Prize will be awarded at the end of each of the four sweepstakes promotion periods. One Grand Prize will be awarded for each promotion period. The Grand Prize is a “Get Your Body in Motion Wellness Package” comprised of: a $125 Walgreen’s Gift Card; a one-year subscription to Prevention Magazine; a $100 Email Gift Card for Walking Shoes at Footlocker or Lady Footlocker; a Stainless Water Bottle; a Nice Pedometer; a $125 Spa Certificate from Spafinder.com; a 16 oz. bottle each of Wellesse Joint Movement Glucosamine, Vitamin D and Calcium liquid supplements; a Wellesse Lunch bag with a water bottle holder; a Wellesse insulated shopper’s tote; and a Wellesse USB Flash drive (1 GB).
Approximate Retail Value of the Grand Prize is $500.00
How to Play the Wellesse “Challenge” Instant Win Game: To play the Instant Win Game, simply go to www.wellesse.com and follow instructions for registration. One Instant Play will be awarded for completing the registration.
One additional play will be awarded for each return login with a maximum of one play per week of the promotion.
Instant Win Codes
Additional play in the Instant Win game will be awarded for depositing “Challenge Codes”. Codes may be offered from time to time including but not limited to print pieces distributed at events in which Wellesse is participating and on Social Media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. To earn a play for code deposit go to www.wellesse.com during the Promotion period (or shorter entry period if indicated) and follow the links and instructions to either register or click on the Log-in button at the top of the page if you have already registered. After registering/signing in, click on the “Enter Codes” button on the top of the page and enter your code where indicated. You may enter one code per event. The number of codes permitted for Social Media sites and other places will be specified on those sites/places.

Odds of Winning: the Odds of Winning the Instant Win Game will depend on the number of players. Up to 6 Discount coupons will be given to all non-winning players.
Awarding of Prizes: Instant Win on-line prizes will be awarded based on a random selection of the entries received. Winners will be notified instantly. Prizes will be sent by USPS within 6-8 weeks of play.
Eligibility: Entrants may not be employees of the Sponsor, or of subsidiaries, affiliated companies, partners, advertising or promotion agencies or prize donors, nor may they be members of the immediate families of any of them, or persons living in their households.
Drawing and Awarding of Prizes: Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes on prizes. Entries are void if the same individual sets up multiple entries with multiple web addresses. Only one email address (account) is allowed per household. All entries and entry information become the property of Sponsor. The sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Only one prize will be awarded per household during each promotional period. The winner of the Grand Prize will be notified by telephone, email and/or express courier and may be required to sign and return within seven (7) days of receipt an Affidavit of Eligibility, a prize release and indemnity agreement and a publicity release, all without additional consideration, if permitted by law. If the Sponsor makes a reasonable attempt to contact a prize winner and/or verify winner's address and cannot do so within five (5) days of the first attempt, or if any winner is found to be ineligible, or has not complied with these official rules or returned any required Affidavit and/or Release, that winner will be disqualified and an alternative winner may be selected.
By participating in this Sweepstakes and Instant Win Game, entrants agree that Sponsor shall have no liability nor shall such parties be responsible for use/misuse of any prize awarded herein and acknowledge that said parties have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Prizes. Winners also agree to release and hold harmless from any liability in connection with the Wellesse “Challenge” Sweepstakes or any Prize including, without limitation, liability in connection with any injuries, damages or losses of any kind, whether to person or property, including death, arising out of or resulting from, whether directly or indirectly, the acceptance, enjoyment, use or misuse of any Prize. Participants also agree to the use of their names and likenesses by Sponsor for advertising purposes without additional consideration, if permitted by law. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected mail or delivery services.
